Gauge: Gauge isn’t all that important in this pattern, however, if you feel like your stitches aren’t tight enough, go down a hook size.
Final measurements: The finished penguin measures about 3.5″ in height and 4″ in width.

Notes:
- This pattern uses standard US crochet terms.
- Experiment with different size yarns and hooks to make bigger or smaller penguins, just make sure your stitches are tight enough to prevent stuffing from showing through.
- This pattern is worked in continuous rounds, do not chain at the beginning of each round.
- I recommend using a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round.

These little penguins come together so quickly, it’s hard to stop at making just one! Consider yourself warned, you’ll want to make some for everyone you know.
